Title Alliance, Ltd, a RESPA-compliant ESOP leader in joint ventured title insurance agencies, announced today that it has appointed Maria Deligiorgis as General Counsel and Compliance Officer.

A graduate of American University Washington School of Law and the University of Iowa, Deligiorgis has spent her entire career in the real estate and title insurance industries working with small and large companies. She has uniquely broad legal and business knowledge and expertise throughout her career combined with executive level experience developing, managing, and structuring businesses and implementing legal strategy for compliance. As General Counsel and Compliance Officer, Deligiorgis is responsible for all of the company’s legal and business elements in all operations.

Deligiorgis will focus on overseeing the business and legal practices of Title Alliance and all its entities, in all operations in all states. Deligiorgis also supervises and directs underwriting, compliance reports and best practices along with overseeing SOC 1 and SOC 2 reporting and other compliance endeavors. Additionally she is responsible for structuring our compliance educational series to assure continued learning among our team members. She serves on the ALTA Committees including the ALTA-NAIC Task Force as well as on the RESPRO Board, member of RESPRO Policy Committee, and RESPRO Federal and State Issues Committee among others.
